Students have begun lesson in digital citizenship. We use Common Sense Media as a tool to drive instruction. Our first lesson was learning about Media Balance. Students viewed this video to begin a discussion about media balance. Check it out! Feel free to have your child watch at home!

Students in third, fourth and fifth grade have structured keyboarding lessons using Typing Club. They are encouraged to use proper posture and home row finger position. 

Students have the choice of using keyboard covers to help keep their eyes on the screen and not the keyboard. 
The kindergarten classes have begun computer instruction with learning mouse manipulation using ABCya.com. Students put stickers are the correct “clicker button” and practice clicking while reviewing their letters!
